Again, as mentioned before, that choil is not designed as a finger grip, it is machined into the blade to be used as a striker for a faro rod.

That is a very pretty knife and I am considering buying one even though it is made in China. It reminds me of the Gerber Freeman Guide Folder which I purchased from their store and love it so much.

some of these had plastic bushings and some have bronze

the little euh cutout on the blade is not for your finger but fot a steelflint.

Some reviews on buck's website have said the knife (screws) loosen up after being used for about two months and you have to tighten them up. Is that true?
I've seen videos of people using the knife hardcore and the knife looks perfect and intact.
