People act like needing a 4090 and upscaling/fg to hit 60 fps is new, a 4090 can't do native PT at 4k in any game(see AW2 and CP2077).

8600 getting rocm is massive. People don't understand how many people first experience nvidia because of cuda workloads and just trust the brand they have experience with. A low end card getting rocm support is massive, up until now the cheapest supported rocm card was the GRE

Correction: The B580 has more performance per dollar. The graph does not indicate that the B580 is 32% faster. The graph says the Arc card offers more performance per dollar, not faster performance.

Honestly, I dont feel as if an SSD or 32gb of ram is unfair to ask at this point. A 2TB NVME is like 160 and 32gb of DDR5 ram is 100 for a decent brand. Its not out of reach or ludicrous in any way. It just stops masochists from getting off.

the Chart @ 6:42 is QUITE MISLEADING... the New Intel card is NOT 32% faster RASTER than the 4060 and 25% faster RAT TRACING than the this chart is PERFORMANCE PER DOLLAR!!! - so Intel's Raster Performace is a 32% better VALUE than 4060 and 25% better RAY TRACING VALUE than the 4060... VERY VERY MISLEADING!

Best in Class Perf / $ That is NOT better raster performance. It is a cheaper price tag that is 32% less than the competition in raster, etc. . please don't confuse the marketing with performance. That slide doesn't compare performance, it compares prices.

B580 is not 25-32% better in tray tracing and raster performance than rtx 4060 but it's price to performance in dollar is. Compared to 4060 is about 10% better as per the slides. It's even written on slides. But how can you read both the slides and believe both different performance claims to be true as it contradicts each other.

i don't think asking for a budget almost 6 year old 2060 as min spec is out of hand for a next gen graphics game but yes they probably could work on optimization more
