The Skar King may not be the strongest monster of them all, but he is the best at being the cruelest and tyrannical king of them all. PS I love his design

Some people criticize Skar King for not being as big or as powerful as King Ghidorah or Mechagodzilla, but I like that they didn't go for the usual trope of the larger super powered villain. He didn't need to be larger than Kong or Godzilla and he didn't need to have a special ability to be a threat. His agility, cruelty, weapons and control over the other apes and Shimo is what made him a threat. In a way, it made him feel more unique when compared to the other MonsterVerse antagonists.

Skar King is probably one of the few best modern villains that doesn't have a tragic backstory explaining why he became evil in the first place, I like him because he is straight up evil, and he enjoys being evil to others.

The Skar King is one my favourite Monsterverse villains alongside King Ghidorah, MechaGodzilla, Skullcrawler, and the M.U.T.Os.

Yknow if anything I would've really liked to see more of him in this movie.

Perhaps even a bit more stronger so that Kong could really struggle more in their first and follow up fights but what we got in terms of treating Kaiju as intelligent characters this movie was great.

1:35 I thought the whole point was that Skar-King wanted to go BACK to the surface and take it over. I'm pretty sure it's not new to him since they say he used Shimo to start the Ice Age and Godzilla trapped him down in hollow earth
