yeah, I followed a Japanese Spear Fishing youtuber and he explained how missing the brain when spear-fishing can ruin the price in the market so often times, he just keep it for himself instead of selling it.

in fact, the money he got from youtube ads is more than what he makes from selling fishes most of the time. But when he did make a perfect kill, it can sell for a lot, some goes for as high as $700 or even over $1000 (depends on the season and the fish).

now he owns his own company and a fishing boat.
