⚠️Wild Wind Gust Around Sydney - This Is Tame In Comparison Wed 28th Aug 24

not quite the end of Winter but temperatures are already up to the high 20s degrees C. Yet there is hardly any snow left on the slopes of ski resorts around Australia and the wind is wild delaying flights and downing trees. It comes in bursts like seizures. - unexpected bursts. The clouds are around but there is no rain yet. The sun well it's trying hard to stay out . This morning it was hot and at sunrise the sky was covered in an ombres of intense reds crimson pinks not just in the distance as normal but covering the entire clear blue sky almost ! An incredible sunrise this morning likened to watching the Northern Lights but not with the swirls of mainly green hues on pitch black. ( photo on my blog).

This sudden wind gust was not the worse. I missed videoing the wind gust before this one which was much more intense . It lasted a few minutes before calm then started again followed by another moment of calm . This continued for quite a while in the afternoon evening.
