I will say that this is absolutely the right teaching but your/our children are going to do what you do l, not what you say. So be the example they need to see. If they come and speak with you do not belittle them, just tell them right from wrong and leave the rest to God.

Unfortunately so many people see “church folks” not living the life they require others to live. Even if someone isn’t shacking the Pastors are sleeping with women and men 🙄, jealousy, backbiting in leadership etc. it’s all equally bad. The best we can do is BE THE EXAMPLE. Live the life you preach about.

I recently saw 2 different pastors (different race, age and denomination) speak about how bf/gf is NOT Biblical and is actually sin because you are most likely lusting after that person even if you never have sex with them

The devil has used our government criminal justice - prison systems, and feminism movement to destroy the black family. She lost me with eating with a hat on. Everything else made perfect sense. No shacking and it dont take that long for someone to know if they want to marry you. But eating with a hat on doesnt make you less of a man. I think we need to differentiate traditions from what the word says. When you blur the lines people will think women wearing pants are a sin but not study to know that member didnt even wear pants in the bible days.

I agree with her but she teaching it one sided. She speaking as if the men are the only one doing wrong. If the man is shacking up, then so is the woman. It takes two to tangle. If the man hasn't proposed to the woman, then why is she still waiting but still having concentual sex? If the man is supposed to do this and do that, what does the woman supposed to do? She needs to teach with balance, and not lean too hard on one side.
