Trip to Northern Areas of PAKISTAN by Muzaffarabad Jeep Club Promo

Its a promo of Muzaffarabad Jeep Club summer trip 2016. The trip starts from Muzaffarabad towards Gilgit via Naran, Babusar Top, Chilas and Jaglot. Next day team move towards Hunza and then Sost. After that we drive till Khunjerab pass and return back to sost for overnight. Day-4 team moves towards Chiporsun, also spelt Chapursan valley. Day-5 team visit Naltar valley and Naltar Lake. On day-6 team move back to Muzaffarabad from Gilgit.

In May 2017, I travelled all the way from Karachi to Khunjerav Pass by road. Also returning to the metropolis by road as well. During the 10 days, covered a distance of approx. 4400 kms mostly by public transport and rented vehicles.

From Rawalpindi, I reached Chitral via Mardan, Malakand Pass, Dir, Babusar Pass, and Ziarat. Visited Bamboret valley, crossed the Buni valley to reach Mastuj. Headed for Gilgit via Laspur valley, Shandur Pass, Phandar valley, Gupis and Gahkuch. From Gilgit, travelled to Aliabad (Hunza) for Khunjerav via Gulmit, Passu and Sost. Khunjerav was all covered in snow (mid-May). On return from Aliabad, disembarked at Rakhiot bridge, Diamir. Trekked almost 11 kms of the jeep trail to reach Jail village and further 3 km up to the world renowned Fairy Meadows (mostly famous for Nanga Parbat).

I think, the most interesting part of travel is "destination is not the end, the experience of reaching it is far more exciting."
