My wife and I spent a month in northern Pakistan in 2023, and we cannot say enough good things about the country. It is incredibly beautiful, and the people are next-level friendly and kind. Highly recommend!! Can't wait to return someday for another trip to Pakistan.

I first went to Pakistan in 1974 travelling through on the well worn hippie trail. I returned in 1999 and went to Rawalpindi, Peshawar, Chitral then over the Shandur to Hunza, Karimbad and Altit. Northern Pakistan is simply stunning, there's no other word for it.

I am from Punjab, India, and my grandparents moved to the Indian side when partition took place. I am currently in Canada, and I believe it is difficult for Indians to obtain visas to Pakistan; I am waiting to become a Canadian citizen and visit this beautiful country.
