My PE teacher from middle school (in a backwater farm town) was a Hall of Famer from the 70s WNBA. Growing up it was barely mentioned that she had played freaking pro ball, unlike every other PE teacher in town. It's so great to see these athletes getting so much attention & the WNBA isn't a short term experiment this time!
