Price vs Williams HIGHLIGHTS: February 21, 2017 - PBC on FS1

Darwin Price made his return to the ring as he faced off against Hylon Williams, in a scheduled 8-round super lightweight bout on Tuesday, February 21st, 2017 at the Silver Street in Houston, TX. This fight was broadcasted live as part of the Premier Boxing Champions series, on FS1.

Price dominated rounds 1-3 with his impressive jab and lightning speed. Although Williams showed up to the fight with a few good combinations prepared, his reservations throughout the night caused him to miss out on opportunities to counter Price and his energetic, yet aggressive style.

As Price continued to control the middle rounds, his speed and impressive athleticism in conquering Williams’ halting counters became a win for the night, although Williams did close the round with a solid right hook.

After going the full distance, Price turned up the heat and applied pressure in round 7 & 8, while continuing to increase his jab stats by almost three jabs per combo. Williams fought till the end but came up short, allowing Price to close in with the victory by way of Unanimous Decision. Price remains undefeated with a record of 12-0 (6 KOs).
