Nothing OS 3.0 Beta Is Here! | Best New Features

The Nothing OS 3.0 Beta is here, and here's my early review of some of the new features. You can check out the Nothing OS 3 beta from October, and it'll be rolling out to the Nothing Phone 2, 2A, etc all the way down to the original by end of 2024.

This version is based off Android 15, and Nothing has made quite a few aesthetic changes. From the settings menu to the notifications tab, right down to some of the Nothing OS 3.0 animations. Other features that have been updated include the screen record tool, lock screen and camera.

I'll continue to test the new camera app in this version, to see if it's improved much. As well as being a little quicker, the portrait mode and night mode have been tweaked for better results in Nothing OS 3.0. What do you reckon, can you notice a difference?

The Dot Matrix font is what Nothing Phone is all about. At least have it available so we can go back to it. Crazy decision.

I'm not that fond of the dot matrix font myself but a lot of people obviously are so I'm surprised that they haven't at least left it as an option in the font settings

Want the dots!! Been using nothing phone 1 for 18/19 months now. I brought it because that was the way I thought the brand would go and stay. Now it's starting to mean well... Nothing 😅

Im big fan of N Dot matrix font
As you said it makes nothing stand out among all other android phones
At least make N Dot Font as an Option

@1:25 that's not the Roboto Serif actually, that's a custom font made for Nothing called "NType 82". ;)

I really hope the Nothing Phone 3 is a true flagship because their OS is awesome and I do want to try out their phone.
