I don’t know why it’s a surprise, , that there are similarities between the live action in the animation. They all come from the same comic book. There is going to be similarities. I enjoyed both the animation and the live action equally. It is a very complex story. Although I’ve never read the book. That said, , I’ve never felt the need to watch the live action more than twice. But I am looking forward to chatter to the animated series.

It's as bland as the comic and live action movie are.

The story is like something written by a 10 year old hippie.
