Colombo To Jaffna | Super Luxury Train (Not Bad 😜) | Golden Star Guesthouse | Episode 01

A comfortable and fastest way to travel from Colombo to Jaffna. The train is fully air conditioned and one of the best train I have ever seen in Sri Lanka. It halts in only few important stations on the way. It is advisable to reserve your seats before the traveling date. I traveled on a week day and the train was full even though the scheduled departure time is before 6 a.m. The starting point of the train is Mount Lavinia and Ending point is Kankesanthurai.

I went to jaffna last week, made the reservation in 1st class A/C. But i was not happy, the seats are very uncomfortable and the train was behind schedule 3.5 hours late as usual. I was really frustrated and in the train the restaurant had nothing to eat for my choice, they had only seeni sambol banis, but that also they made it manually. After landing in jaffna i was totally sick and i could not enjoy my trip. In vain i wasted my time and money. Specially the railway should know to put comfortable seats in 1st class. I checked the 3rd class seats, they are better and comfortable.
