~ Audiobook Description ~
Nothing is more important for our own mental, moral, and spiritual development, or for our increase in usefulness, than Bible study. But, not all Bible study is equally profitable. Some Bible study is absolutely profitless. How to study the Bible so as to get the most benefit from it is a topic of immeasurable importance.

The practicality and effectiveness of these Bible study methods and conditions have been tested in the classroom, and not with classes made up completely of college graduates, but largely composed of people of very simple education. The methods, however, require time and hard work. It must be remembered that the Bible contains gold, and almost anyone is willing to dig for gold, especially if it is certain that he will find it. It is certain that one will find gold in the Bible – if he digs. As you use the methods recommended in this book, you will find your ability to do the work rapidly increasing by exercise, until you can soon do more in fifteen minutes than you could do in an hour when you started.

No book other than the Bible provides the opportunity for intellectual and spiritual development by its study. No other book, and no other subject, will so abundantly repay careful and sincere study. The Bible is read much, but is studied very little in comparison.

Thanks for this treasure. It came at exactly the time I am battling to settle on a Method fo Bible Study.

I live in South Africa. How do I buy the print version that looks exactly as I see it on this vid?

While the listening & possible pdf downloading & self printing are an option I STILL LOVE MY BOOKS IN ORIGINAL FORM..

It has always puzzled me that it is possible to apparently study the Bible unintentionally. Here are a few examples, though:
1. (Most frequent) Looking for something to read, you pick a random book from the stack on the side table. Lo and behold, it is your Bible, right where you dropped it as you came in from Church last Sunday. You randomly open it up to Amos, and find yourself engrossed.
2. (Less frequent) You are wandering the halls of your church, wondering which adult Sunday School to attend, when you spy a door sign reading "Systematic Bible Study". You shy away, and go in the next classroom which was labeled "Bible Bingo." You settle into a chair, only to be challenged by your general lack of answers for the bingo questions. However, you take notes, and learn about 14 different times birds appear in the Bible, today's theme.
3. (Very rare) You sing in choir, and learn some handy Latin. You recall from your classical Latin (you were home schooled, of course), that you just memorized some Bible verse or the other, or at least, a pious phrase. "Dies ire, Dies mile. Confitandu, ..."

instead of two columns of left and right as discussed in minute 26: you need five columns: who, why, when, what, and where questions to address an issue. let us start with john 14:3
"And if I goe and prepare a place for you, I will come againe, and receiue you vnto my selfe, that where I am, there ye may be also." column 1: who? YESHUA: column 2: why? to calm the concerns that HIS disciple have. as stated in john 14:1-7 1.Let not your heart be troubled: yee beleeue in God, beleeue also in me. 2. In my Fathers house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would haue told you: I goe to prepare a place for you.

3. And if I goe and prepare a place for you, I will come againe, and receiue you vnto my selfe, that where I am, there ye may be also. 4. And whither I goe yee know, and the way ye know. 5.Thomas saith vnto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest: and how can we know the way? 6. Iesus saith vnto him, I am the Way, the Trueth, and the Life: no man commeth vnto the Father but by mee. 7. If ye had knowen me, ye should haue knowen my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and haue seene him. column 3: when? the future at the last trump: zoom to paul's 1 corinthians 15: 51-55 51. Behold, I shew you a mysterie: we shall not all sleepe, but wee shall all be changed, 52. In a moment, in the twinckling of an eye, at the last trumpe, (for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.) 53. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortall must put on immortalitie. 54. So when this corruptible shall haue put on incorruption, & this mortall shall haue put on immortality, then shall be brought to passe the saying that is written, Death is swallowed vp in victorie. 55. O death, where is thy sting? O graue, where is thy victorie? paul gives more info in 1 thessalonians 4:13-18 13. But I would not haue you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleepe, that ye sorrow not, euen as others which haue no hope. 14. For if we beleeue that Iesus died, and rose againe: euen so them also which sleepe in Iesus, will God bring with him.
15. For this we say vnto you by the word of the Lord, That we which are aliue and remaine vnto the comming of the Lord, shall not preuent them which are asleepe. 16. For the Lord himselfe shall descend from heauen with a shout, with the voyce of the Archangel, and with the trumpe of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first. 17. Then we which are aliue, and remaine, shalbe caught vp together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the aire: and so shall wee euer bee with the Lord. 18. Wherefore, comfort one an other with these words. column 4. what? the 1st resurrection as described in revelation 20:4-6 4. And I saw thrones, and they sate vpon them, and iudgement was giuen vnto them: & I saw the soules of them that were beheaded for the witnesse of Iesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had receiued his marke vpon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they liued and reigned with Christ a thousand yeeres.
5 But the rest of the dead liued not againe vntill the thousand yeeres were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6. Blessed & holy is he that hath part in þe first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be Priests of God, and of Christ, and shall reigne with him a thousand yeeres. column 5 where? on earth isaiah 11:1-9 1. And there shall come forth a rod out of the stemme of Iesse, and a branch shal grow out of his rootes.
2. And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest vpon him, the spirit of wisedome and vnderstanding, the spirit of counsell and might, the spirit of knowledge, and of the feare of the Lord: 3.And shal make him of quicke vnderstanding in the feare of the Lord, and he shall not iudge after the sight of his eyes, neither reproue after the hearing of his eares. 4. But with righteousnesse shall he iudge the poore, and reprooue with equitie, for the meeke of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rodde of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked. 5. And righteousnesse shalbe the girdle of his loines, and faithfulnesse the girdle of his reines. 6. The wolfe also shall dwell with the lambe, and the leopard shall lie downe with the kid: and the calfe and the yong lion, and the fatling together, and a litle child shall lead them. 7. And the cow and the beare shall feed, their yong ones shall lie downe together: and the lyon shall eate straw like the oxe. 8. And the sucking childe shall play on the hole of the aspe, and the weaned childe shall put his hand on the cockatrice denne. 9.They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountaine: for the earth shall bee full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters couer the humble servant richard
