This edit audio hits hard especially because it describes the hardship of losing friends because they show their true colors of how much they can be cruel and hurtful and that's my exact situation...I had a friend (now ex-friend) and he decided to be cruel and show off a secret of mine and then cut me off and pretended to be the victim in the situation and so this edit audio really describes him

I like this edit specifically because it cuts out the more romantic aspects of the song.

Never thought I'd be one of the people dropping their sad life story in the YouTube comments, but two of my relatively close friends who I've spent a lot of time with over the past year suddenly showed thier true colors today, they were saying some of the most racist and homophobic things I've heard in real life and I never would have guessed that they were so hateful. We were in marching band together, alongside a bunch of people who would fit into the groups these friends were bashing. I thought I knew these people, after all, we were "band family." Seeing them hate on our fellow classmates and friends... It really shook me.

I guess I just like that the chorus of this song can be applied to basically any type of relationship. The full song is obviously referring to a romantic relationship, however the section included in this edit can be applied to pretty much any type of heartbreak. It's therapeutic in a way.
