Fox Mustang T top conversion part 2

Part 2 of a T top conversion on a Fox Mustang.

Great video. Bought a 79 Pace Car new. Still have it. Repaired my rusted sunroof by replacing it with a rust-free 93 4 cylinder from a junkyard. Used only the outer sheet metal by drilling out the spot welds. Did the same to the top of the car. I spot welded the top after priming, painting and using the inert wax undercoating. I never want to do that job again. Stripped an 83 t top including the doors. I don1t know if I will do a conversion on the pace car but if i do your video will be invaluable. I have other fox bodies to install the t top on. Thanks.

Did you have any trouble with the glass lining up? I just did the swap and my glass lined up before riveting now its riveted in and doesn't line up so I must've flexed the body by sitting in the car when riveting 🤦‍♂️ I guess I'll have to pull the roof again in the winter

Nice job! Do you know if an 86 ttop car would work with an 89? I have a great 86 roller with a bent frame i was going to convert my 89 turbo gt with

Is that a 82 gt or one of the cobras on the side? Also I am considering doing it to a pace car to make it the official pace car you know?
