All of AQA Measurements and their Errors - A Level Physics REVISION

Показать описание
In this video I go through all of AQA measurements and their errors for use as A Level Physics revision. This video is not only vitally important for preparing for Paper 3 and the practical physics skills but it also has essential information for anyone starting A Level Physics.

I recap base and derived units as well as the common prefixes. There are random and systematic errors and how to minimise these, key words like accuracy, precision, repeatable and resolution. I then go through absolute and percentage error for single and repeat readings (for both readings and measurements) as well as percentage uncertainty in gradients. There are the ways that errors and uncertainties are combined to give the final uncertainty in a reading.

Don't forget to subscribe on YouTube and also sign up to my A Level website to find hundreds more videos.

Thanks for watching,

Lewis

Am I the only one that got so excited when I saw his calculator? I've never seen a pink colored one. Kinda weird for me but I want it. This video was useful to me, covered the chapter beautifully 💕

This video has A level physics content which wasn't much focused by our teacher in school so I used to stumble on these whenever they came in paper. But this video is a rich package and I direly needed it. Thnx:)

Thank you so much for the video and timestamps, it explained the content incredibly well so far and I'm only 10 minutes in! Starting A level Physics in September, it seem like these videos will prove to be very useful!

Are you going to cover all the topics in A Level Physics? If so, when will these be uploaded by?

Hi there, I find your videos well explained and very informative. Is there a possibility that you could make it possible so that I may be able to download your mind maps for each of your videos? For example, when making a video, you would take a picture of the mind-map and put it on your website so that we can download it. That is if you have any time. Thank you, Sir!

Answer this question for me, please, is a head scratcher:
1.0 cubic centimetre (cm^3) of a solution contains 0.010g of salt. What is the mass of salt contained in 1 cubic decimetre (dm^3) of the same solution?
Textbook says 10g but I disagree, my answer is 0.1g
Which answer is correct and Why???

Could you do a video covering the required practicals in this years advanced info and the possible types of questions you get asked on them.
