Mark Zuckerberg has a few ideas on how to stop false stories from spreading -- including making it easier for people to report fake news, and possibly putting alerts next to stories flagged as false. (That is, if it even shows up in your feed's closed-off bubble.)

Good idea. Let's start and end with CNN, ABC, NBC, MSNBC, FOXNEWS, CBC, BBC, and every channel that's on TV.

I gave up on Facebook and tv a long time ago. Hopefully I wont have to give up on Youtube and Google.

so either act like a child and block them. or act like a child and report anything you don't like claiming it's false. It's a system that's easily abusable and facebook should just DO THE WORK THEMSELVES.

Looking forward to the hilarity when this backfires and The Onion is the last "news" site with posts on Facebook.

Sure, I'll help them police their own website, just as soon as they give me a cut of all the money they're making on selling my personal information to advertisers.

The thing is, if someone doesn't like a news story, even if it isn't fake, they will flag it anyways.
