Static-X was one of my favourite bands. It is the reason why I like industrial metal today and not only. I really wished I could watch them perform live but sadly I didn't have the oppurtunity. What can I say about Wayne. I worshiped the guy, I wanted to have a hairstyle like his, but the coolest thing about him was his voice.. it was sooo awesome, electrifying, energizing, simply ecstatic. So sad he is gone, STATIC-X will forever remain as one of my favourite bands and Wayne as a singer. Rest in peace Wayne you will be missed. You truly are The Only

I remember in 07, during the free ozzfest tour, Static X was in Columbus, and we were sitting all the way in the back during some band, hangin out in the shade smokin a good fat blunt with some old hippy couple or some shit we just met. Well the entire band comes by on golf carts on their way to sign autographs n shit, and Wayne jas the dude stop. Comes over and asks if he can get a hit, and of course we oblige and pass it. For a good ten mins we all stood there in a metal peace circle talking about what acts we were all stoked to see. 100% normal, awesome guy.
I'll remember that moment forever brother, say hey to Dime for us. Hail \m/

It’s crazy when I think about it. It feels like it wasn’t long ago when i was on their message boards asking the band some questions. I remember Wayne answering my questions and thought it was so cool. Definitely got super bummed when I heard he had passed.
