How to Make Ice Lanterns

Ice lanterns are a fun craft that incorporates nature during the cold days of winter. You can mix up the size of your containers and the types of cuttings you use, it's a great way to experiment and have some fun!

Materials needed:
- Large container
- Small container
- Rocks
- Cuttings from the garden
- Hot water
- Candles

Steps:
1) Gather cuttings to use
2) Put one or two rocks on the bottom of your larger container for the small container to sit on top of
3) Fill small container with rocks and place on top of rock(s) in large container
4) Fill large container with hot water
5) Add cuttings
6) Place into freezer, or you can keep them outside if it is cold enough to freeze
7) Once frozen, remove from freezer and put hot water into small container
8) Remove small container, you may need to wiggle it a bit
9) Put candle inside of hole from small container
10) Light candle and enjoy!
