Scottish National Trail: A Journey into the Soul

This 132-minute long photo and video montage/film, aided by Adrian von Ziegler's music, documents my 556-mile hiking on Scottish National Trail, in 5 separate stages between summer 2021 and summer 2022, over 30 days (plus 2 more days to get from Cape Wrath at the end to Durness). This long and beautiful journey has been not only a physical challenge, but also - particularly the last 12 days of it - the most beautiful, mystic, soulful and solitary time I have ever experienced in my entire life. This experience enriched me in ways that I had not seen coming.

From this journey, I returned a changed person. It felt like a pilgrimage.
