When I was younger, I didnt even know axolotls existed, but recently upon rewatching the trilogy after 5+ years, I realized, wait a second, TOOTHLESS IS AN AXOLOTL. Quite amazing to suddenly have such a revelation.

It's also pretty cool to have a childhood character strongly resemble something that exists as a living creature, thinking that the design was purely fictional all those years.
