The first song from Aqua Tofana's debut album Dead & Famous, available now.

Aqua Tofana are a dynamic four-piece band based in South East England. While writing their debut Dead & Famous, Aqua Tofana decided to eschew the traditional approach of EPs and instead introduce the world to their music through a full album where their post-genre approach flourishes.

Lyrics:

Love is a letterbomb,
but that’s all she wrote

Face is calm, the softest palm
Brutish armour, it’ll never be more

Homeless with a roof above my head
An abstract concept wants me bled
Bled dry of everything that made me a something
Replaced with resin of a different hugh

Listen
Listen
When don’t I listen
Talk
Talk
When do I talk

The pressure’s too much to have
There’s no balance to be had
Devoid of purpose, a slave to the dirt

Everytime something gets peeled off
A lovely act to save me from myself
An empty room, with no payoff, no payoff

Give me more, give me less
Give me nothing until I confess

Give me more, give me less
Give me nothing until I confess

The reason for Sundays
On the alter
The quiet proddings
Of her father
A taste of fire and it falters
Repeat prescriptions for his daughters
All is lost to absent wanders
A thoughtless act all is squandered

Give me more, give me less
Give me nothing until I confess

I can’t sleep here
I’m not dreaming
I’ve got no reason

I can’t sleep here
I’m not dreaming
Give me a reason

I can’t sleep here
I’m not dreaming
I’ve got no reason

I can’t sleep here
I’m not dreaming
I’ve stopped believing.

Listen
Listen
When do I listen
Talk
Talk
When do I talk

Confess.
Confess.
Confess.
