Fury didn’t train and didn’t treat Ngannou with any respect. Joshua made no mistake and treated it like any other boxing match

I just think Ngannou had never really been hit like that before by someone so big, fast and powerful as Joshua. The straight right just rang his bell and the second knockdown just left him primed for a KO.

What a strong person, to be back after losing a son. I can’t even imagine, wishing him all the best and strength to continue his recovery

He got counter punched, felt AJ's power, then bit on every feint until AJ set the trap. Game over.

That ko was so hard it made him a conspiracy theorist

With all due respect to Francis. The only thing that was wrong was that he got hit flush by a 250lb+ heavyweight champion boxer.

Francis said he wanted to sleep and AJ gave him his wish.

That punch AJ landed on Francis was the hardest punch I've ever seen

He was almost flatlined at the end of the first. He was saved by the bell. Francis was basically knocked out as he walked back to his stool. Being in that state while your coaches are talking and the crowd is yelling and your trying to process what’s going on and where you are is a slow process. Francis then stands up and starts the second round. He takes a straight up sledgehammer from AJ which shuts him off. It’s two massive head impacts within 3 minutes. This is why he can’t remember what happened. Watch the sequence. The KO was so brutal, I don’t believe his nervous system will allow him to fight the same way ever again. It becomes an involuntary reflex to protect your brain and lose your “chin”.

Truth is just because Ngannou saw AJ arriving on TV does not mean that’s the time he actually arrived. The TV networks and organisations would always try to time the right moment to show the headline act in order to get the fans excited. Why would they show AJ on camera hours before the show. There has been many times where fighters have been shown hours apart arriving to the arena or stadium.

I feel for Francis but he’s in denial and like the warrior he is, trying to cling on to anything that can justify the eventual outcome we all saw live and clearly that night. He believes that was not a true representation of how great he is or can be and that he was never given a chance to showcase all the great things he learnt in camp. Like he said he was more confident for the AJ fight because he trained harder and was even better prepared.

Right now is when he needs realists around him like Joe Rogan who can give it to him straight with no bull. The state he found himself heading into that 2nd round was partly down to shock, deafening silence and the beginning of his separation from his senses. Ofcourse he couldn’t remember past the 1st round.

What we’re seeing is how boxing at the highest level can leave a man’s brain scrambled. Same thing happened to AJ against Ruiz and also to Ryan Garcia when he went in against Tank. It’s tge reality of a brutal sport.

No need to laugh at Ngannou for sounding foolish. He knows no better way to put his points across than he is currently doing.

This is to tell you how sharp AJ was. The punch came like a bullet, you don't feel it, you just get the effect 😂

Francis’s english has improved dramatically. It’s impressive.

Francis being early to the arena isn’t what made him constantly try to parry the jab, and switching to southpaw

That KO knocked the memory out of him 😅

The ONLY mistake this man made in handling his career route was taking the Joshua fight. He could have waited it out and filled his obligation to PFL, then cash in the rematch clause on Fury with a hot hand, just imo. Now it might be tougher to make that happen.
