just bought this too. stoked. i'm most excited about the vibrating alarms. really really sucks to hear a concert of audible alarms in a group when diving. i'm surprised it's taken this long for DC manufs to realize this.

I personally have the Perdix, and it's nice to see what options the Perdix has that the Peregrine doesn't.

Three years on, there have been changes to the firmware. I believe you can set each value separately in the smaller combined displays now, and it can contain 3 values per field for a total of 6. At least, it is that way on the Perdix now.

For those wondering, these are the options the Perdix 2 adds over the Peregrine:
- OC TEC (Technical) mode
- CC/BO (Closed Circuit / Bail Out) mode
- Deco planner
- Air integration (AI) up to 4 transmitters, with a Sidemount mode
- Compass (tilt compensated)

The Perdix 2 has a user changeable AA cell. You can use a rechargeable AA battery, but you can't charge it through the body.

Just made my first dive (cold water / drysuite) with my brand new Peregrine and (coming from a Suunto) really love it!! This is really so much better and user friendly and much easier to watch underwater. And the app is great as well no issues at all with wireless bluetooth connectivity with my Ipad and old iphone7 I really like the graphics when watching it on my ipad and like the way you can easily add all kinds of info...👌👌
I don’t miss anything (yet) but do need to make some additional dives of course for a ‘final verdict’ 😎

i set up mine for GTR and SAC on the bottom left/right page to monitor my consumption always.

Important point, Modes are Air, Nitrox and 3 Gas, NOT 3 Gauge. Tech divers generally use Oxygen, Helium and Nitrogen mixed so that Oxygen remains below 1.4 PPO at depth and Nitrogen is at or below the value for a 40 metre dive. Helium makes up the rest

"the GF is not allowed to be changed in recreational modes" ... then immediately after switches to custom, with editable GF.

Does this mean custom is only settable in tec, or you can use it in rec like with the Perdix and Teric?

Nice review. However mine does not have the "Define Gas" option. Not sure why.

Nice review. Would have liked to see if the screen layout is more like OC Tec when you set it to 3 Gas.
Surprised there's no alarm for MOD.
Hope someone makes a NATO strap adapter for this.
