This seems like a closure album to me. It is like she went through all her diaries, did whatever was needed to close the book on previous events in her life, and is now free to move forward, proudly knowing that she has made it through. Congratulations Taylor!

I LOVE this because the manuscript is the one she wrote for her short story film of All too well. And is so beautiful...how in the age of him she wished she was his age and made coffee in a French press.(Cause he was 31 and she was 20) Then she dated boys her own age. And the actors were hitting their marks and when Sadie Sink was crying in that scene her tears fell in synchronicity with the score. AND FINALLY SHE KNEW WHAT THE AGONY HAD BEEN FOR....so she could make this beautiful piece of art that she wrote and directed. (And won awards for) So the manuscript is the only thing she has left from that relationship....but the story isn't hers any more it's ours now. I just love this.❤❤❤❤❤

This song relates to her film version of the 10 minute. In the interview, she said the story was ours, her fans, because we all had that experience and we took her song as our own.
