Also looking in doing this on my B7 (but i'm gonna use a CVBS). I see that you powered the camera from RNS's connector, others added a fuse and got the power wires transfered on the left side of the car. I don't know what approach should I make with this

How did you remove the rubber gromit between the boot and the body of the car? There does not seem to be any give on my vehicle.

Yeah, if the flip camera cannot be installed, I will go with aftermarket Android display with canbus connection and indoor camera that sits on the path of washer fluid and wiper. This way snow will not get in my way.
