As someone who is coming from Bangladesh I think Bangladesh's environment is often criticized just because of Dhaka. Which is an absolutely polluted place, but Bangladesh has such great Villages and Beautiful nature, you will be simply driven by its beauty. I am a Bangladeshi. This video makes me so proud. Yes, we have a lot of negative sides. But we are trying to overcome it. But the progress we made in a short time should be praiseworthy. The lifestyle of Bangladeshi's are changing. We are proud of achievements we have made so far. And Dhaka maybe one of the most polluted cities but there are also positive things about it. I visited Bangladesh in 1996 for 2 months. It's changed a lot since I was there, but I enjoyed my time there, and have always wanted to go back. I was welcomed and never was in danger. I enjoyed the people, the food, and the landscape. I've said this before, "A person has never truly seen the color green, until going to Bangladesh."

As a Bangladeshi myself, I'll say that one of the biggest issues of our country is corruption, poverty and lack of literacy. It's improving sure but it's still not to the point where poor families can have a day's square meal, get their children some proper education and not sent them to work at such an early age. I hope the situation improves here and can climb it's way to one of the well-known countries out there and to be there isn't an easy task. For that to happen, support, awareness and unity from both the governments and general public is very necessary.
