I got 7 with a kinda weird similarity argument but all in my head cause i dont have paper so idk how correct ima check

Edit: forgot to double 4 into 8 cause i was still thinking of the lower rectangle in terms of a triangle oops.

In my opinion a really cool problem. Took me a few minutes and since it relies on areas there isnt really a cheese way to WLOG. Nice geometry practice for AMC.
