PHP rocks my world still today.
Coding for 25 plus years and PHP has been where I made my bread and butter. Some previous languages never fed my family

What were you benchmarking at ~20s? 12 req/s is two orders of magnitude slower than "slow".

For example, Laravel APIs clock around ~3000 req/s for light loads.

~100 000 req/s for (leaner) Go/Java servers.

Something is very wrong at 12 req/s.

hey man! can you tell me how long it takes to learn PHP ? from zero to somewhat confident in building basic websites & some functionalities.

In general I love PHP, but sometimes makes me angry 😅

null-5
gives no warning, no error (in the 8.1 neither)

In C++: NULL-5 gives at least warning.
In Python: None-5 gives an error

The only thing I don't like about PHP is the direction towards OOP.
