What do you guys think of the ProArt lineup? The PX13 is insane considering its size.

I have the P16 and it is a great laptop. That 4k oled is fantastic and color accurate and supports touch. It's performance is next level and has a great selection of ports. The matt black coating is the least fingerprint magnet coating you can currently get and looks great. It has an excellent keybord and one of the best non haptic trackpads you will find. It runs very cool for a 4060 and fan noise is very tolerable. It's speakers are excellent and it's pricing at 1899 is exceptional. Looking at you Dell XPS, Samsung book ultra even Mac Book Pro. As for ram you get fast ddr5x at 32 gigs standard and can upgrade to 64. It's only flaws is it should be haptic and 120 htz. If you need it get the g16, but you will go from 4k to 2.5 k and lose the dial pad and the discrete looks. Even the MacBook Pro has it's faults, no oled, the notch.no type A ports, no wifi 7 and is very expensive to get 32 gigs of ram and 1tb storage and you cant game on it. Sometimes you need to look at the overall package. Good review Matthew and I agree the PX13 is a feat of engineering. If you change the settings to whisper mode you will achieve much better battery life on most operations.

Another big difference is the 16" offers up to 64gb of ram. Something the Zephyrus doesn't offer.

I'm not going to say the 60Hz refresh rate isn't a bummer, but I still love my base model PX13. Last week I had it running Microsoft Office apps, Teams, Edge, Encompass (bloated loan origination software), MongoDB Server, IIS, and Visual Studio debugging a large project. The fans turned off because my PX13 wasn't bothered by that workload at all ... and I fell in love with it. 🤣
To have that kind of performance along with 2-in-1 functionality and a good time gaming now and then is peak x86-64.

I think that people dont realize that the reason it' 60hz is because of the screen resolution, oled pannels, and the color accuracy. All of those are very limiting factors. At 144hz They could do 2 at the same time, but 3? Not at this price range (and its already expensive)

Finally Windows laptops are taking front facing speakers seriously.

5:34 I wonder if the webcams look so different because of the positioning and the light. The 16 looks better in my opinion.

looks great, i'm tossing up between buying the 13in vs the 16in. Can't see much benefit of the 16in, I think 13in will be easier when travelling

Asus, if you're reading this. I was set on the PX13 until I saw the refresh rate was 60hz. How can a creator device have such a basic refresh rate?

I love my PX13 (I have the 4050 version). The industrial design and build quality is on a par with Apple and Surface. Bought it mainly for work, but played Trek to Yomi (free with Prime rn fwiw) last night on Epic settings. Even at just 1080p, it looked beautiful, and I'm pretty sure you could play at the native 3k res.

Great and well-produced review - thanks a lot! The P16 is for sure my next laptop - I love the clean aesthetics combined good screen/keyboard/performance and the sound/mic/webcam are much better than my current laptop. I am not a gamer, so 60Hz refresh isn't much of an issue for me.

I appreciate that even in your sponsored videos, you call out the laptops' weaknesses. The lack of 120hz as an option is unforgivable. So a "creator" doesn't do research on the internet and isn't scrolling constantly? Even if he or she isn't gaming, anyone paying this much for a laptop with these components, who will likely hold onto the device for multiple years, should be able to choose a panel as good as the G14 or G16 has. Almost everything else is so great, especially about the P16. You get full 100w to the 4070. You get this awesome new processor from AMD. You get a properly cooled system in a compact design, that is light weight, with a great webcam and with good battery life. You even get all the ports. It's just -- you have a sub-400 nit display that has the same refresh rate as the original iPhone released in

ProCreator Hub sounds like a formal way of saying "the Hub" 💀

the 16 not folding completely makes the stylus pretty useless, they even removed the stylus compatability with the trackpad, would be a no-brainer otherwise

I really hate to be forced to choose what I don’t really like. I would totally go 100% all in for P16 if the screen would go all the way the same as in PX13 this would be my dream computer please ASUS make it happen 🙏

Is it good for gaming? If we are playing games in ultra setting in px13?

Very much appreciate this excellent discussion/comparison. Am considering the 13" as a general purpose travel laptop.

I would REALLY love a 120hz display. Right now, it's a toss-up between the galaxy book ultra 4 and P16 just because i love samsung's displays, but that 4k oled, I'm super attracted to it.

I never understood the logic of making a larger version of a laptop that is originally a 2 in 1 but not making the larger version 2 in 1 as well... like, why? Especially a laptop for creators, why? What is so wrong with a 16 inch 2 in 1?
