I’ve been aquarium hobby for 20 years and one of my favourite carpet plants is I use Pearl Weed as a carpet for my aquarium in the aquarium hobby, pearl weed is known for its versatility.

Seeds are easy to plant, look nice, however not easy to maintain. Tried with Co2, with tabs… longer period before water filling (help a little). Plant still wither away in 6-8 months. I’m guessing these plants are mainly grown immerse, not submersed. In the end I went back to growing moss carpets. Lower maintenance. Hope this helps.. ❤

Why call them aquatic plants? They’re definitely not aquatic. Even if you do luck out and get some that are aquatic then they are always long and really spindly.
