For me simple editing is a game changer. Before I would rarely build and hardly ever edit because I am not very good at the game. Simple edits have made me build and edit at least 10x more. They are great for bad players like myself because there is such a small learning curve

This could be amazing for console players like me! When I first started out it was the season right before they introduced zero build, so I got kind of good at builds but I wasn’t great. Then I didn’t have to worry about it and now I could have a way to do it super easy!

Simple edit is annoying sometimes and is sometimes useful

I think only new accounts should be able to use simple edit like if you been playing longer then a year you cause use it cause if after a year of playing you should be able to edit half good.

2 big issues with simple edit. First obviously can't hold a cone to see through builds. 2nd, I've gotten killed so many times after building a box and trying to swap to a med kit but instead editing the wall so that I am completely open. Note I'm on console so maybe this isn't an issue on PC, still frustrating AF.

I dont like the way simple edits work. The way it should work. You should still have to try and edit like normal. But if you miss the edit your trying to do, the game should be able to interpret what edit you were trying to make, and complete the edit for you. It would feel more normal and fluid but help with those controller players like myself that can't consistently make their edits happen every time

I literally have the perfect solution, Fortnite... Have BOTH simple edit and normal edit available at the same time. They can be different keybinds (e.g. F for simple edit and G for normal edit). This way, one can use simple edit most of the time but still have normal editing for the more advanced stuff.

I’m not very good at build mode but I’ve been trying to improve this passed year. Got decent at the building part but editing has always been hard. I’ve been trying to learn simple edit since it came out and it has helped me improve a lot! I only play build mode now and I’m much more confident fighting. I still get dunked on my better players but I can at least hold my own against casual build players now
