Our former truck was a 2013 model which was a good truck except using a cummins. Our new truck is a 2019 and while i can tell there was a lot of great ideas put into it. The side lights should be put on a seperate switch than the overhead utility light. As a spotter/switcher/yarddog of several years i can tell you how useful having a side door is. The view on the passenger side is obstructed by the stylish line on the lower part of the widow and only having one window open puts a lot of trust in the a/c unit. I'm just stating a few issues i see with the newer trucks

Being able to adjust the passenger side mirror without a ladder would be great. And easy to adjust like most modern trucks would be better. My 87 mustang has adjustable mirrors. Easy to wire mirror heaters would be great when they are replaced. Also, faster fill up on air tanks or ability to cut off the air to the brake line when not in use. But at the same time making the service line fill up when the tractor brakes are off would help fill up trailers air tanks without the trailer and tractor moving. Its a good product and I prefer it over using a new on the road tractor. Mainly because of the lift feature. The dipsticks get stuck about a foot before seating in, I have to slam it in there or wiggle it around a lot. More gauges for temps too. And a lip on the dash would be cool so clipboards don't slide off then driving. More DC outlets. The one that is vertical is good but gets dirt in there too easy. Changing fuses should be easy for anyone to find and change without knowing where its hidden. Don't take my suggestions as knocking it. I like the tractor. Just some thoughts.

Anybody know where the backup alarm is located on these?

Always breaking down, turns like a boat, longer wheel base makes it worthless in the snow. Smaller steering wheel and stiffer steering wears your shoulder out after 10 hours. Better heat and ac than the older ones tho lol.

My T2 has a button next to the air horn that looks like a round beaker with an arrow pointing up next to it. Anyone know what it does?

We have 2 of the T2's and 4 of the old Ottawa 4x2's. I am holding on to my 4x2 as long as they keep it. I tried driving tge T2 for four hours one night. That was enough. The a/c is not as strong; that push button tranny sucks, and I hate the side steps getting up into the truck. You feel every bump in the pavement and I find the controls and steering to stiff. I think that they will loose sales if they dont bring back the 4x2.

they're made out of plastic. the older def-less models are better. speaking as a mechanic who works on them.

Bad design. Whomever designed this model is not experienced in operating a yard truck. What part of your body gets cold in the winter? How about the feet, not the shins. My knee constantly presses on the mirror adjustment buttons. There is no way to safely clean the one piece non opening side window, or mirror. There is only one opening window, not cool in the summer when it is too hot to keep windows shut, but not quite hot enough to run the air. Speaking of air, the air vents blow directly on the knee caps. In the hot weather I get very warm, but my knee caps get so cold they get numb. The mud flaps only cover half the tires, thus flinging mud, water, and winter salt all over the rear windows, and side mirror. The adjustable mirror needs to be re-tightened on a daily basis, due to vibration. The " weather visor" over the windshield leaks on the interior every time it rains. There is a HUGE blind spot when backing a trailer on your blind side, due to the shape of the one piece window and huge exaust stack. There is no temperature gauge. The air and electric lines get snagged up every time I make somewhat of a sharp turn. I may be getting a little petty on a few stated issues, but this is my office for 10 hours a day!

If this guy says "note" one more time im waterboarding him with DEF.
This truck is a piece of cheap plastic garbage i prefer AutoCar or the older model Ottawas.

Our t2 is crap breaks down constantly. The dealer who sold it doesn’t know how to repair half the systems. It started losing coolant and running poorly they couldn’t figure it out. After hours or research I discovered there is a tube that goes through the the DEF tank to prevent freezing. Guess what was cracked and leaking coolant. Had to repair that and the whole DEF system. Total piece of crap.
