Jack trying to protect his Kung Fu Panda funds.

Every canned PR apology sounds exactly the same. 100% not written by them and definitely not genuine but it’s just another instance of doing whatever it takes to keep their career.

actually the venues canceled the tour for them due to insurance and security concerns

Already debunked. Black laughed at the comment immediately. Gass revoked his apology. Venues cancelled the shows. The hiatus wasn't all his doing.

Just because someone issues an apology doesn’t mean they really mean it. Often times they’re just sour sorry that it backfired.

They both deleted their apologies. Nice reporting

Jack Black hates Trump as well! Hes just trying to distance himself from this mess.

I am all for free speech. Kyle has the right to his opinion. Free speech comes with consequences. You must be willing to pay for those consequences should you bump your gums.

People who make a living on a stage in front of thousands of strangers probably shouldn't advocate for shooting people on a stage in front of thousands of strangers. It's just not very smart.

I don’t think his words were “dangerous”. They were stupid, but these woke people eat themselves.😂😂

Venues canceled some of their shows too, before they announced the hiatus. Plus Kyles agency dropped him. Glad you mentioned that he deleted his apology afterwards. Some people are leaving that part out.

Liked Jack as an actor. Tenacious D never did much for me. But I feel that his and his bands future doesn't look good. The country is almost split down the middle when it comes to things like this and I actually think it leans a little more right contrary to what the media would like you to think. I think that comment made by Gass is also gonna cause them to lose half their fan base.

Let's face it, retirement is long overdue. They had a good run, just eventually got old and morbidly obese.

THEY didn't cancel the tour. The tour was canceled on them. No insurance=no show.

Just think…back in the 80’s or 90’s bands could say anything and do just about anything on stage just like this and you’d never even hear about it unless you were there. But now every show is full of people holding up smartphones.

Hope the “D” continues they are really an amazing band. Lots of bands make stupid comments. Sadly these days any negative comment makes it so polarizing that cancel culture here in ensues.

What's been said and done is already finalized and you can't turn back from the fact. But at the end of the day, life goes on and we should leave it off.
The D will be BACK!

He'd sell out his best friend to save himself and his financial interests. Pretty typical of his kind of people. His career is over anyway.

D stands for douche.
I always liked Jack Black (especially School of Rock) but this has taken away any respect I had for him. Really tired of the celebs promoting hate towards conservatives
