Does allocated VRAM size matter for integrated GPUs (APUs)?

The Legion GO was plugged in with the 30W Mode all the time.
I was using the DAY 1 BIOS.

I wish it came with 32 gb of ram and dedicate up to 16 gb to vram. I feel like that would be great for all the current gen handhelds

This is true after hours and hours of trying to find the best graphic setting to play cod wm3 on this device while dock on a 50-inch tv FSR mode makes most games nonplayable and actually better off. I've owned a legion since the second month it came out and it plays pretty much everything flawlessly but yea, I agree 32gb of ram and a 2 to 4 tb ssid would make this thing beast. Once my warranty runs out, I will do the 32gb upgrade and yes, I recommend the Legion go great device.

In newer games if you play below 1080 which is recommended 6 gigs is perfect in most games but some games won’t cache shaders under 8gb vram like Hogwarts legacy which is a huge bummer

6GB seems to be the sweet spot, and it'll only get better as drivers are optimized to manage RAM better.

The current Bios / Uefi now has a 6 gigabyte option. Lenovo has promised an auto option as well in the upcoming BIOS version.

There's a new bios with 6Gb option, it will probably be the sweet spot.

There probably will be a 32gb option, but that will be next years refresh, 12 months from now with 8xxx series Apu's, released just in time for Xmas again.

asingen 6gb of vr. In the new bios update, and in Windows system settings, they assign more virtual memory for the system. This way the games will run better.

Have you tried to Alicante more disk memory. To windows to use as ram in system settings advanced options/ performance? Its default us just 2 gig but you can increase it

For a game like Baldur's Gate, what about if you use the Razer Cortex app to put apps and functions to sleep in the background? Would that free up enough memory for it to run better?
