This is a short sample to correct the misinformation that Morrison did not speak Spanish and therefore would not know whether or not Brushy Bill Roberts spoke Spanish. The truth is Morrison was fluent in Spanish and conducted interviews and lectured in fluent Spanish. This short clip shows Morrison speaking in Spanish and English. I think Brushy Bill may have known billy pretty good because he lived at the same time and he probably run into him at some level and maybe even become friends with him because they worked the ranches doing cattle and back in the day they probably worked for the same ranch owners . He also knew Frank James too so the kind of guys he hung around let him become a very interesting guy. But as far as him being Billy the Kid, That would be far fetched to emagine. Although Garret did jump on his band wagon for a while and they became friends so Who knows, Garrett might have let his buddy go and accidentally killed the wrong person by mistake and let the deceased be the Kid, so that left Billy in the clear . I understand that there was no one to identify Billy's' body that was part of the gang that wanted him caught because he was buried before they could identify him . Later Garret was killed by someone and maybe the person that killed him might have been the father of the kid he shot, Who knows . Lots of speculations here and here say.

As sure as crazzy horse kicks ass as much as doc holiday, john wayne, bruce lee, mike tyson, gen. Patton, ect ect ect. Brushy a.k.a billy the kid will echo through out history. Thank god mr. Morrison found old billy!

I would say that Billy the kid was killed by Pat Garrett and someone who knew Billy the kid did to pat Garret as he done to Billy. No body will ever know the truth. That’s just the way it is and goes.
