As a Brit, I would like to inform you that the shortbread cake is actually called millionaire shortbread and it is a caramel-on-shortbread desert 😂

It has caramel on shortbread with a layer of chocolate on top. It is the best DESSERT EVER!!!!

I recently went to a local Home Goods and they had little soap dispensers and pen holders that were in 3 different Hello kitty designs, and there was a Kuromi one too! ❤

Hello kitty:
Hello Kitty was created in 1974 and the first item, a vinyl coin purse, was introduced in 1975. Originally, Hello Kitty was only marketed towards pre-teenage girls, but beginning in the 1990s, the brand found commercial success among teenage and adult consumers as well.

The Hello Kitty murder case (Chinese: Hello Kitty藏屍案; Jyutping: Hello Kitty cong4si1ngon3; lit. 'Hello Kitty hidden body case') took place in Hong Kong in the spring of 1999, when a nightclub hostess was abducted in Lai Yiu Estate, tortured and raped in an apartment in Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, after stealing a wallet owned by one of her frequent customers.

Fan Man-yee (樊敏儀; Fán Mǐnyí; faan4 man5 ji4, 23) was held captive by three men and one girl before dying between 14 and 16 April 1999. Her body was decapitated and her skull placed inside of a Hello Kitty mermaid plush.

Spokespeople for Sanrio have said that Hello Kitty has no mouth, as they want people to "project their feelings onto the character" and "be happy or sad together with Hello Kitty." Another explanation Sanrio has given for Hello Kitty's lack of a mouth is that she "speaks from the heart.

The Los Angeles Times quotes Yano as saying she was "corrected — very firmly" by Sanrio when she described Hello Kitty as a feline. "Hello Kitty is not a cat, " she said, citing Sanrio. "She's a cartoon character. She is a little girl.

A Chinese mother made a deal with Satan to save her daughter, who was dying of cancer. Legend says after the woman summoned the devil, he instructed the woman to create a character in the form of Hello Kitty as payment for saving her daughter's life.

My melody:

Born in the magical forest of Mariland, My Melody is a kind and good-natured girl. This cutie was first introduced in 1975 as Sanrio's rabbit version of the Little Red Riding Hood. That's why you always get to see My Melody wearing a cute little hood above her head! She never goes out without her hood!

My Melody (マイメロディ, Mai Merodī) is a little rabbit girl who was born in a forest in Mariland. She is a popular Sanrio character, in particular in Japan. She treasures her bright red hood (but it is often depicted as pink) that her grandmother made for her.

Overall, she is a soft and adorable character who represents the brighter aspects of the Sanrio universe. The cute My Melody is known for her love of baking cookies and eating cake. She is kind, loving, and always ready for fun.

She used to be friendly until she got convinced that My Melody was trying to ruin her life. For example, the incident where Melody ripped out Kuromi's notebook.

Kuromi:

“Kuromi, an escaped prisoner from Mari Land, has the Melody Key, an artifact with dream-corrupting powers, and she and her partner Baku have plans to gather 100 black notes to revive the Spirit of Dark Power. What for? To get back at her rival, My Melody, for the turmoil My Melody caused her (by accident, to be clear).

She is an escaped prisoner from Mary Land. She was arrested but it was later revealed that Kuromi committed crimes like stealing bread in order to feed Baku's poor family. When Kuromi was on trial, Baku tried to convince the judge that he too was responsible.

In the series, Kuromi is actually an escaped prisoner from Mariland, a forest where My Melody lives. She wanted to get back at My Melody for ruining her life! On his journey, Cinnamoroll faced a fearsome dragon who hoarded pastries. But Cinnamoroll's bravery helped him face the dragon. Cinnamoroll also outsmarted a cunning fox, and even rescued his friends from a storm. His spirit never waned, and his love for his friends saw him through.

Mocha and Cinnamoroll have been seen together in multiple romantic situations, even so much as kissing. There is no confirmation of their relationship status, but clues have shown that they are, in fact, dating.

He has blue eyes, pink cheeks, and a tail that resembles a cinnamon roll. Cinnamoroll flies around the town looking for fun and new adventures with his friends, and one of his main hobbies is eating.

Pompompurin:
Pompompurin was born from an in-house design contest by Sanrio in 1996. The kawaii company wanted their designers to come up with a brand new dog character!

Here's another fun fact, Pompompurin loves the phrase 'let's go out' as much as he dislikes the word 'stay!

Today's Sanrio character of the day is Macaroon! She's Pompompurin's girlfriend, and runs a beauty parlor!

His trademark is his brown beret that is always on top of his head. Pompompurin's interest is collecting shoes, which includes his owner-father's leather shoes, one of his owner-mother's sandal, etc.

Pompompurin (ポムポムプリン, Pomupomupurin) is a good-natured Golden Retriever dog character introduced by the Japanese company Sanrio in 1996.

Pompompurin has many friends but is incredibly close to his friend, Macaroon. Hello Kitty has even said Pompompurin seems to have the hots for her. But, believe it or not, Pompompurin has a crush on someone you'd never suspect: Snoopy! Yup, THAT Snoopy of Peanuts fame!

Pocchaco: In the early years of his life, Pochacco was referred to as "The Yorimichi Dog". He loves basketball and soccer, but around the mid-1990s he took up skateboarding. Although he walks upright, he still has a hard time tripping over himself often; usually resulting in head injuries with an accumulation of bandages.

He is often dressed in athletic attire, as he has a sporty and playful personality. He also has a girlfriend named Pochamii.

Pochacco is one of the many fictional characters produced by the Japanese corporation Sanrio. He is drawn as a white dog with black floppy ears, but no visible mouth.

His best friends include a mouse named Choppi and a mole named Mogu. He loves sports, especially basketball and his favorite food is carrots. He also loves banana ice cream.

The series's first chapter focuses on Mell, a rabbit from France who is withdrawn from everyone, believing she doesn't have any friends. Ciel, looking at this situation, asked everyone to send as many letters to everyone to make her come out.

Mell is considered a bit disorganized and a scatterbrain, but despite that, she has a kind and loving heart for everyone, but especially her crush, Lutz; a yellow-furred and blue-maned lion from Kenya who once delivered a very special letter to her that opened her heart wider.

You should go to the Brighton one! (You have to book though as it’s pretty small!) I went for my birthday and really enjoyed it! (Except from the fact that people are really blind and clearly can’t see the sign that is in the MIDDLE of the staircase that says “Bookings only” but no, they have to push it out the way and call the workers rude for shouting at them) 🙄
