He is the lead vocalist for the rap-metal band BackWordz and a contributor for the Blaze TV network. He is the Founder and CEO of Rippaverse Comics, as well as lead writer of their debut comic book series Isom.

I've been watching Eric since he was talking comic books, and then Thomas Sowell, one of my biggest heroes. I've bought his music because it's good. I bought Isom because it was good and I'm continuing to buy his new campaign and I'm standing in line to buy and read the further adventures in that universe.

Zuby you made a very good point about Eric July. He doesn't lie and he seeks the truth. he is authentic with himself. People recognize real and when you build an audience with your authentic self then it becomes natural we will want to support them.

I am also seeing an absolute, damn near crucial, craving for authenticity in a world flooded with profilicity. When I was a touring musician, the best way to connect with the audience was NOT the performance, but the personal authenticity when speaking one on one.... and that was 2008. Shame that the authenticity was used to boost merch sales (not my focus)... but I guess there was a mutual benefit.

I really enjoyed this in depth interview with Eric. I love seeing these types of interactions with genuine creators in the Indie market. I would encourage my fellow comic book bros, film enthusiasts, etc; don't get black pilled. There's a wealth of existing old entertainment content that you can enjoy; which is now being supplemented by a thriving Indie creator marker. Go out and find the things you love.
