Erik Torenberg and Samo Burja examine the pervasive fascination with American political dynamics and their far-reaching impact worldwide, especially across Western democracies and European nations.

They analyze how digital connectivity has accelerated the harmonization of political discourse and cultural values across borders, while exploring the emerging shifts in European political frameworks that increasingly reflect American ideological patterns and media narratives

If we heard more videos like this, we'd all be smarter. I will be listening to these ideas again.

Cross-posting podcasts might screw up your placement in the algorithm. People churn out of watching, or click "not interested" (without specifying "I've already seen this")

why do these same conversations get recycled and reposted on multiple different channels months and months later

Just FYI: your new MoZ's design/branding looks more like GlaxoSmithKline's logo.

Would be nice if Samo went and watched Bong Joon Ho's Mickey 17 and did a episode on that

Liberal democracy and free speech are dead in Europe. The center-left and center-right parties are almost indistinguishable now when they govern. And there is an engine, a machine, for silencing opposition, because such opposition will be forced to form a new party. Now the left parties can be co-opted, see the German Greens. The right parties can easily be manipulated into being both anti-immigration, tarred with being hate speech, and to have some connections to Russian influence. Any time one gets too influential, simply ban the party from the election and possibly even arrest the leader. This has already happened in the EU. What has actually triumphed in Europe is a return to the old ways, to a modernized version of the medieval Catholic Church's bureaucracy, without the overt religion of course. Just look at how the EU and NATO have moved east -- first the Catholic countries, now the Orthodox, but basically forcing the Orthodox new members to finally surrender to the Catholic point of view for how to run things.
