I relate to this lesson so much, as a former Catholic. I also felt anger upon realizing I had been worshipping and teaching Catholic doctrine that was not taught in scripture. Thank you, Brother Mazzalongo!

Great introduction that sets the epistles of John in their proper historical context. Good job, Mike.

When you mentioned acts 2:38 about being baptized for the remission of sin, you left out being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Being baptized is JESUS NAME commandment. How you are baptized Is important. And than shall you receive the Holy Spirit with evidence of speaking in tongues. You can't just leave out parts of the scripture. We have to take the whole Bible as important. You are leaving out important steps to true salvation. Nowhere in the Bible was anyone baptized in the father, son, holy ghost. When Jesus commanded in Mathew to Baptize in the name of the, Father, Son and Holy Ghost. He was talking about baptizing in His NAME. Who is the NAME of the Father? Who is the NAME of the son? Who is the NAME of the holy ghost? JESUS is the of the Father. JESUS is the son, and JESUS is the holy spirit that dwells in us.
