Knowing Metabo, please do not only do power tests🙄.. we know it’s strong, so include trigger sensitivity and constant load speed control for screwing fasteners in delicate surfaces - please 🙏 You’re one of very few America based reviewers that’s not only doing power tests.
The rest should have an on/off switch on their drills instead of a variable speed trigger😖 Metabo is on top there with Festool in smoothness and handling.

Those metabo drills are sweet I tried out that high torque one they had a few years back

Thats a huge tool. 21, 7cm long. Plus anything winds inside the gap between the chuck and gearbox and it will either end up inside the gearbox or cut your hand up.

Been using metabo since 2015 the made in Germany metabo. Will probably never use another cordless drill. Have a 797inlb version just got the 1151inlb version it’s a beast.

What purpose does that shiny, metal piece in the middle of the drill serve? Never seen it in person, but it seems to add to the length considerably
