If made 100% accurate to the manga that beast would be about 1-2" thick and would weigh at least 200-300lbs, and one of the things I like most about Miura's work is that it ISN'T normal. People react to Gutts even being able to lift the dragonslayer with the shock and fear it deserves.

considering Guts is around 6'8" tall, even if the Dragon Slayer was a bit smaller than him, it would still be an enormous piece of iron attached into a handguard that will look impossible to be used by any human.

Honestly, I think I'd want a truly accurate version of this sword built not to be wielded, but to just... be there. To let you feel how utterly fucking stupid this sword is yourself, add some weight to Guts' actions. If one day I ever become a smith, probably something I'd be insane enough to try. If nothing else, you could use it for weight lifting.
