Manteca was once a mellow little town. It's growing because there is a vast population of middle eastern migrants moving into the city and reshaping the local culture of Manteca. Mayor Singh can perhaps showcase the developing Singh Drive (no connection, of course) being built off Woodward Blvd., or one of the many opportunities for employment in the ever-growing addition of car washes and fast food restaurants in town. If you're looking for a thrill, try driving through town with our new migrant neighbors motoring about, , fresh from dmv with their license to drive... I suggest you take defensive driving to a whole new level and invest in a dash cam, because the police are nowhere in sight. This town, like our state, needs help and fast.
