Coach Catches 9-Year-Old Gymnast Just in the Nick of Time

At a competition in Tennessee, 9-year-old gymnast Cherrish Remy barrels her way toward the vault and launches herself off the springboard, but she’s off the mark. Luckily, her quick-acting coach Chad Buczek appeared out of nowhere and caught little Cherrish before her fall could go really badly. “I instantly broke out into a sweat,” said the girl's mother. “It’s definitely not the first time he’s saved her,” she continued, speaking of Coach Buczek. #InsideEdition

It looked like she was going to fall on her feet anyway. Yes - might have fallen at a weird angle and could have hurt her foot. Catching her was safe, but I reckon she would've been safe too without him!

Nice catch coach. I remember having spotters save my neck a few times. One of the things that my coach taught us was to not allow the fear to paralyze you. I hope she was able to get back in there and continue. Hat's off to you coach.

That little girl and her mom look exactly alike, it’s shocking. I’m sick of reading comments that say “well ofc she looks like her mom that’s her child”. Not everyone looks like their mother. Personally, I look nothing like mine, but look exactly like my father.

actually it looks like she could have done it even without him. she noticed mid flip that she messed up and her left food isnt straight cause of that when she has contact with the big mat. she even would have landed on her feet. pretty good reflexes of her
