Engineer Esther: "I would tell him what I do for a living: I fix aircraft; I am like a mechanic for aircraft." Sis, I do not blame you for thinking that the three year old child is a boy. Engineering is still so male-dominated that we, as female engineers, sometimes even address each other as "guys." So instinctively the child is a boy. And that too is fine. Very fine.
