RANKED: The 10 BEST Racing Games On PS5!

Sony’s PlayStation 5 has finally gained traction after a tumultuous couple of years where production was stymied by worldwide microchip and superconductor shortages.  

Now, more people than ever own a PS5, meaning there are hundreds of thousands of Sony-owning racing game fans out there all eager to pick up their next fix.  

Helpfully, we’ve decided to list our top ten favourite racing games currently available to play natively on the PS5, and there are some surprises in store. (And one entry that isn’t a surprise at all!)  

PS5 players are lucky enough to choose from the likes of GRID Legends, Wreckfest, Need for Speed Unbound and Gran Turismo 7 (as well as many, many more). However, you may be shocked at which games didn’t even make the cut...

Wreckfest hands down is the best game I've ever played. The online community are amazing to play with and you will be laughing, having good chats and enjoying your self for hours and hours non stop. This game is absolutely amazing to play with and much fun.

Nfs unbound is very fun and I actually like the name brand clothing especially the Versace jumpsuit they got 😂

All of these games NEED a PSVR2 version or add-on ...
This will give any driving game a huge leap in the future.

They definitely need to make tourist trophy 2 like they've talked about. They're just not sure if it'll be made. I love the thought of Gran Turismo, motorcycle racing, pure simulator. Made from polyphony digital and Sony.

I agree mostly. I think WRC should have been much higher on the list. That game is pretty much perfect. Personally, I’m waiting for Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown. Anybody else?

GRID (2019) plays really well on PS5. Feels and plays a lot like Driveclub. Usually dirt cheap in a sale with all season content adding quite a bit. I Prefer it to the forced grinding required to progress in GRID Legends.

The number one factor I have with any PS game is if you can play it offline. Eventually all companies shut off their servers and if you need to be online then you own a coaster when they shut the servers down. I still play old GT games, but can no longer play GT 'sport' because they just shut down the servers. I refuse to play rental games no matter what the experience.

I ended up getting Grand Turismo 7 but nobody mentioned you have to have internet to play the game and unfortunately hot spots don't work. Maybe I'm too old school and just prefer games that are ready to go out the package but with all the cool updates I'm probably going to have to get a good internet provider and really see what this and other games are all about.

I sunk hours into MotoGP22 and still feel dog-doodle at the game. Truly tests your skills and patience on learning a real life skill in a video game.

For me, ACC is the nr 1, eventho that GT7 has VR! The reason for this is that ACC has better FFB on DD Pro wheel and the sound of the game is greater!

Wtf in my opinion the cartoon style is why need for speed looks so good its so unique and different and a nice change of pace for the visuals

The world needs a free to play monthly updated jdm/drag race open world multiplayer game where you can drive with friends along some dope ass mountains and pay to win tunes... PLEASE SOMEONE
