Charge attacks for Spears are so broken, if they gave then a damage buff they would be crazy

Fuse a frost gleeok horn to a feathered spear, you get the ultimate "i don't wanna fight you" stick.

If there's water or a cliff nearby, it's instant death for whatever enemy you send sliding into the death pit

A bit off topic, but the Bokoblins in TOTK with their stylish horns make the original BOTW Bokoblins look bald.

Spears always were some of my favorite weapons. Even outside of BotW and TotK. But one thing I love about them is that they can interrupt almost every attack from smaller enemies. Especially helpful with Bokoblins and their annoying Yee-Haw spin. Also good at keeping Lizalfos from jumping away from you.

ngl tho, kinda wish the damage reduction on spears wasn't a thing in totk. I would even be happier if they just showed the reduced numbers as the amount of damage on the actual weapon, than lying to us about how much damage it does.

I hated two handed weapons in BotW

No shield and they were slow, especially on flurry rushes. They just weren’t fun to use

I use spears a lot. When an enemy is vulnerable, or stunned, I have a spear I fused a lynel horn to. The charge attack does so much damage.

1h weapons are best for normal combat cause sword shield combo, 2h weapons for the spin attack and pure damage, and spears for the flurry rush cause you get the most hits fuse an ice thing to a royal halberd shreads everything that can be frozen when you flurry rush

Spears are so trolly. Easy to stun lock enemies from afar and keep them stunned since their damage is nerfed. Bokoblins be like: just finish me off already!

Oh, I didn’t realize you could do this if you just started the spin while facing away from the enemy. I did this by facing the enemy but I spun around behind behind the enemy and it worked the same way.

Bro I love spears in both botw and tears of the kingdom for 4 reasons
Their fast attack speed
Their broken charge attack
Their long range
And it just looks goofy when you fuse another spear to it in totk

Cause there is still a very small chance that the target wont get hit regardless of your aim.

It wasn't patched COMPLETELY. It still double hits on the first spin, but after that, it only hits once.
