I am Kim McCulloch. I'm a physician in obstetrics and gynecology at the Budge Clinic.

I did my undergraduate education at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Then I went to medical school at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks. Then I did my residency in obstetrics and gynecology in Columbus, Ohio.

I am a member of the college Obstetrics and Gynecology, and I'm also a member of the American Medical Association. I am married to a wonderful person who is a stay at home father for our 2 daughters. We have 2 little girls that are 4 and 7 who consume our lives. They are so fun and they are active and they love to be outside. So we like to ski with them, and hike and boat and camp. My husband and I also really like to cook, and we like to garden. We just like to be outside as a family.

I went into obstetrics and gynecology because I love the variety, the fast pace, and I really love delivering the babies, but I also like taking care of the women yearly for their annual exams, and seeing their families grow when their lives develop. And I also like the surgical aspect of it. I like to quickly cure problems with surgery and then follow up to see how happy people are with their resolutions to their problems. But the longevity of the care, and that most people are happy and healthy, was very appealing to me.

Luckily in obstetrics I get to have memorable experiences every day, because people love to have children, and when they have a happy outcome, they're happy. So, they're all memorable, but particularly memorable experiences are women who have difficulty getting pregnant or complications during their pregnancy, and getting those patients their healthy happy families is very rewarding. There are lots of examples of patients like that who have had struggles along the way, but getting that delivery is so rewarding.
