Показать описание
Quick and simple project - Wooden jar lids for storage jars.
Almost all steps could be done with router - from jointing/ thicknessing boards to routing lids.
Regular metal lids are glued in wooden lid covers afterwards.
Finished with Osmo oil.

Very very nice, I don't think I can get the outer part nicely round but square round would seem to be easier and faster to make.

What were the measurements of the lid
Well I know it will differ with every jar but the thickness

Do you have plans for that circle cutting router jig? I have been looking for something like this with no success. Yours is exactly what I’m looking for .

I love this idea, but, it kills me to think of how much effort goes in and how short a life lids have in my house. Can anyone think of a way to make the lid removable from the wood?

This is a terrible sonic experience. The sped-up router sounds like a dentist drill. Why would you include that? It's not like you didn't edit the video? I can't finish watching this. Yes, I could mute it but now I'm cranky enough that I don't want to. Fix your audio, damn.
